GM Chu Stage – FAQ

The 24th stage of Gran Master Chu will take place from the 3rd to 7th of June in Milan.

I am a beginner – which parts of the stage would you recommend? Is it worth participating in the entire stage?

The stage is divided in two classes: Class A takes place from Wednesday afternoon to Friday morning and is the more advanced class. Class B is designed for every level and takes place from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. However, as Master Chu King Hung stages occur in Milan only every two years, we recommend all students of all levels participate in the entire stage.

When and where does the stage take place?
The stage will take place from the 3rd of June to the 7th of June in Quanta Club, which is located in Via Assietta 19, 20161 Milano.
How do I get there?

Quanta Club is a 10 minute walk from the nearest metro station – M3 Affori FN, which is also a railway station. The club does not have a special bus service. We recommend you time your travel from your accommodation to the club. Once through the gate, signs will direct you to the area in which the stage will take place. For those who will be traveling by car, Quanta Club provides ITCCA Italia with limited parking space.

What are the options for lunch?

ITCCA Italia has made arrangements for students to have lunch at ARCI, which is a convenient and well priced self-service canteen, located across the street from the Quanta Club entrance. We ask students to book their lunch with their ITCCA Italia teacher or contact us directly.

Quanta Club also has a restaurant/steak house, Brace & Farina, available within the premises. The phone number is 340 191 2731.

I will be having lunch at ARCI – how will I pay?

Daniela Bassi, an ITCCA teacher and board member of ITCCA Italia, will be collecting the payment per table. Each table is asked to put together their payment and deliver it directly to Ms. Bassi before leaving. The price for lunch is usually no more than 10 euro per person.

Are there any recommendations for hotels?

For the convenience of those outside Milan, we have made a list of hotels at a reasonable distance from Quanta Club. Please scroll down to the end of the page for the list of hotels.

How much does does the stage cost?

The cost of the entire stage is 395 euro.
One session costs 248 euro.
One day (6 hours) costs 130 euro.
There is the possibility to pay hourly for partial participation, please contact your teacher or ITCCA Italia directly for more information.
Active membership to ITCCA is required for attending the seminar (30 euro, also payable at the stage if necessary). There is a 10% discount for those who pay before the 31st of May.

For ITCCA teachers and students outside of Italy, please contact Master Carlo Lopez directly for the amount and payment method.

For all payments, or questions about payment, please contact your ITCCA Italia teacher or ITCCA Italia directly.

How can I pay?

Payments should be made with your ITCCA Italia teacher or directly with Master Carlo Lopez.

For all payments, or questions about payment, please contact your ITCCA Italia teacher or ITCCA Italia directly via email itccaitalia@gmail.com
