The Itcca at Hong Kong |
|||||||
First day at Hong Kong Greetings from Hong Kong, a city that has been very important for Tai Chi Chuan for many years: here lived (and that says a lot) Yang Sau Chung, son of the legendary Yang Chen Fu, who also founded of our school, the Itcca. The city is strange, it looks somehow like London, they drive on the right hand side, and resembles New York because of the huge skyscrapers. |

Today, after meeting Master Chu who was coming from Shangai, and after drinking a good bottle of Champagne with the representatives from Switzerland, France and Holland (the one from Germany will arrive tomorrow), which was kindly offered by the other Italian representative, Dario Milana, we had a Chinese dinner (obviously) with the Master. |

Some more information about the forthcoming event which will be held here in the Queen Elizabeth stadium, very close to our hotel: it’s a pre-Olympic contest-demonstration festival, and it’s the first one that sees all the major Tai Chi Masters reunited; Master Chu has been officially invited by the Hong Kong government and the demonstration will be held on Monday night. The jet lag, 7 hours later than Italy, forces me to go and get some sleep. |
